Quality Civil Designs is a multi-discipline civil firm with a staff who has over 30 years combined experience in the engineering and development industry; however, we feel we have more to offer.  We opened our doors with the goal of providing  quality and valued services for our clients. But what does that really mean for our clients? That has to mean more than the quality of the plans we prepare, or the accuracy of  the calculations we perform. QCD clients will receive something else. In addition to quality civil plans and great engineering designs, our clients will enjoy a uniquely refreshing positive experience from our designers.

We strive to meet our clients goals; while having a quality relationship with everyone involved in the project.  Our clients will be better able to trust our  recommendations when they have a positive experience. This is always in the best interest of the client and most importantly the success of the project.

Bill Nash, PE

Bill Nash received his Civil Engineering degree from Georgia Tech in 1999. Upon graduation, he began his engineering career at the Georgia Department of Transportation in the Road Design Division. At GDOT, Bill worked on several large roadway projects, preparing construction plans, quantities, pipe designs and specifications. Post GDOT, Bill transferred his focus from roadway design to the growing Atlanta private development market. He then joined Clark Design Group, a Gwinnett county based private civil engineering firm. While at CDG, he worked on many residential and commercial site development projects. These projects included high profile, master-planned communities with mixed use development. He also spearheaded the firm’s environmental effort when the state’s new NPDES law took affect. Bill enhanced his skills and grew from a design engineer to a Senior Project Manager in a four person engineering team. Also, while at CDG, Bill obtained his Georgia Professional Engineer Registration as well his State of Georgia Level 2 Erosion Certification. Bill has used his experience to create Quality Civil Designs, a compact and flexible civil engineering firm that emphasizes service, quality and economical solutions to its clients.

Nita Watson

Nita Watson began her career shortly after high school in 1977, while attending Georgia College at Milledgeville and working at Walker McKnight Surveyors. There she learned drafting skills and the ropes of land surveying from individual property surveys to Final Plats of 1000+ lot subdivisions. Nita worked for Walker McKnight for 5 years, adding to her knowledge of surveying and developing experience in client support before moving to the Atlanta area to attend Southern Polytechnic Institute. While attending Southern Tech, Nita continued her education on the job, working at a newly launched pump company, an American distributor of Swedish based Pumpex. There Nita expanded her knowledge into the Civil Engineering field and developed business relationships with developers and contractors alike, analyzing individual project demands to determine the best product for their situation. From there, Nita went on to Gwinnett based, civil engineering firm Travis Pruitt & Associates. Nita worked at TPA for 12 years, learning and developing new skills in design of residential subdivisions, commercial developments and both private & public water and sewer systems. In 1998, Nita left TPA to help launch a new civil engineering firm in Gwinnett County; Clark Design Group. At CDG, Nita continued to develop her skills as the company grew. Nita took on duties of fully designing residential, commercial, and industrial developments, managing these projects from concept through permitting and construction, working closely with client developers and contractors as well as city, county & state permitting entities. With this experience, Nita joins Bill Nash in the creation of Quality Civil Designs where she will continue to aid its clients in their land development projects.

Aaron Frampton, RLA

A Landscape architect with over 15 years of Land Planning experience. Aaron graduated from Virgina Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1995. He joined Bill Nash and Nita Watson at Clark Design Group in 2001, where he headed up the Planning Department for the firm. He utilized his experience on many commercial and residential development projects throughout the Metro Atlanta Area. In 2008, he joined W.K. Dickson to support their Marketing and Land Planning Departments throughout their company. Aaron has rejoined his team at Quality Civil Designs to assist the firm in providing top-notch service and technical support for QCD clients.
